Fuel Handlers Glove
An alternative to the traditional rubber fuel handlers glove and the non-barrier gloves often worn by fuel handlers such as the traditional flyers glove and the light duty glove, the Masley Fuel Handlers Glove is a comfortable and tactile fitting glove with a full barrier lining for resistance to POL’s (petroleums, oils and lubricants). The outer shell is constructed of flame- resistant simplex knit and POL and flame-resistant leather. The inside lining is a combination moisture management brush knit for wicking sweat away from the hand and a fully sealed breathable barrier for resistance to POL’s. The glove shell pattern has concealed (in-seam) stitching for durability. A gauntlet increases the length to the mid forearm. A strap and buckle fastener is located on the back for cinching at the wrist. Shell Fabric:

Washing:
Clean your gloves to prolong the wear life. Hand washing of the gloves is recommended to maintain the formed shape and sizing of the glove. Place gloves on your hands and wash with mild soap similarly as you do when washing your bare hands. The inside of the gloves may be rinsed as well. Hang to air dry, away from direct heat. Restore Water Repellency of Leather and Fabric. The leather and fabric on your gloves is highly breathable and water repellent. Washing the gloves, as noted above, with soap and water will restore most of the water repellent properties and maintain the breathable comfort of your gloves. If more repellency is desired, then use treatments that will retain the breathability of the leather and fabric. Appropriate treatments include the following.
> Break In Period
Leather has unique properties for forming to the three dimensional shape of the hand and fingers. The leather is water repellant treated. In addition to its durability and non-melt properties, it has been chosen for its ability to “break-in” and form to the shape of the fingers. This allows the user to have a sense of touch when handling small objects. > Warranty

US Air Force 2004-2007 I originally used the Fuel Handlers glove in Korea as a Bulk Fuel Operator and found them to be extremely versatile. They kept my hands warm in the winter and were still usable in the summer. The barrier to POL is amazing and has allowed me to use 1 pair of gloves for a multitude of tasks. I have now been using the Fuel Handler gloves for 3 years and have brought them with me to Afghanistan and Kuwait. Even in the deserts of Kuwait, I was still able to wear the gloves. The versatility of being able to wear the same pair of gloves in the winter and summer and still have protection from POL and the dexterity to operate a weapon is unbelievable. 2004-2007 US Air Force,
